The new septet Froward, achieved in june 2011, has been premiered on August 27th, at Kunstfest Weimar 2011 by Klangforum Wien conducted by Sylvain Cambreling

Nube obbediente, for trombone and percussion, has been rewritten. It will be premiered in Geneva, together with its concertante version (ensemble of eleven instruments) by Contrechamps on May 10th. With the addition of a new song, for soprano and string trio, Drei Aster Lieder (premiered in 2007) becomes Aster Lieder, a song cycle upon Rilke, Hölderlin, Spalt and Benn, which will be given in its complete version at Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik 2011 by Natalie Raybould and L'Instant Donné string trio.

Summer 2011 master classes

This Summer, Stefano will held a master class at “Etchings 2011”, a festival for contemporary that will take place from June 26th - July 4th in Auvillar, France (near Toulouse). Info on ECCE ensemble web site. Later, from August 29th until September 2nd, another master class in Montegiorgio (Italy). Info here.

Two recent CD releases: a monographic CD, entitled Antiterra, including An, Animato, Antiterra, Epicadenza, Least Bee and Godspell has been released in June 2008 by Aeon [AECD0866]. Sviete tihi recorded by the Swiss label HatHut Records [hat(now)ART 170]. A new monographic CD will come out in a few weeks by Stradivarius

This summer, Stefano will held three different master classes: in Brazil (July 3rd - 18th), at Campos do Jordão Festival, in Rouffach, France, at Musicalta Academy (July 21th - 31th), in Monterubbiano, Italy (August 23th - 29th).
